The blog for uniform styling tips, crew news, recipes, interviews and oh so much more.
Thank you to everyone who took the chance to Pop In on Saturday 12th November 2022 at Cargo Crew HQ. A huge thank you from our collaborators Jessica Nguyen, Daen’s Kitchen & Digby Cakes who were all selling their insta-famous creations as the perfect Christmas gifts… while Louie Digby’s cakes, cookies & wownies were inhaled by guests before getting a chance to even sit down, they are just so delicious!
We opened our shop & showroom doors in Melbourne to welcome customers, guests, kids, babies and even a couple of dogs to celebrate the launch of our Riley Boiler Suit and the gifting season with our Personalized Aprons.
Our team had such a delightful day personalizing and wrapping all your beautiful selections of personalized Aprons, Kids Aprons, Boiler Suits and Sweaters (excellent choices if we do say so ourselves!)
Our embroidery team were on stand-by so we were able to turn around your gifts on the spot!
It was a delight to see everyone leave with bags filled with chilli oil, olive oil and baked goodies in addition to completing your Christmas shopping.
Our Riley Boiler Suit is loved by creative makers and bakers, as the perfect everyday uniform for work and play.
Fuss-free and flattering with a waist tie and 5 pockets, its fast becoming the new wardrobe staple. Available in dusty pink and black, we had our change rooms in a spin as people strutted their stuff in this powerfully flattering Boiler Suit.
Our embroidery team are on site, to add your name, initials or favourite emoji embroidery.
Pop In guests were able to meet, try and buy Jessica Nguyen’s famous Chili Oil bottle and exclusive serum.
Beautifully gift wrapped, it makes for the perfect Christmas present for their favourite foodie.
Her obsession with chili oil sparked her first product launch in 2020 – ‘Chili oil on everything’ the cult condiment becoming the must have pantry item and handbag essential.
No matter your level of home cooking skills, Jessica’s mission is to inspire people to cook and throw parties at home. @Jessica_nguyen_
Louie Digby is a creative foodie, founder of Digby Cakes and baking powerhouse who had us all drooling over her slices of cake, salted Nutella cookies, savory scones, shag cup cakes and wownies. A white chocolate brownie… and yes it tastes even better than it sounds.
What started as a lock-down passion project has turned into a buzzing small business. Digby blew our Pop In customers away with the perfect sugar hit while checking off that Christmas gifting list.
We’re pretty sure most people circled back to Digby Cakes table more than once at the Pop In (including all the Cargo Crew team) after tasting her baking! @digbycakes
Daen Lia launched her exclusive blend of olive oil at our Pop In. This limited edition extra virgin olive oil has been cold pressed by Rich Glen in Yarrawonga.
The elegant bottles of liquid gold make for the perfect gift. Daen’s Kitchen Tik Tok is full of inspiring recipes from garlic confit to nailing the perfect avocado toast. Guests could also purchase Daen’s Kitchen limited edition Olive Emoji Aprons in Sweet Pea and Blush, making it the perfect Christmas bundle for the foodie in your life.
We’re lucky enough to have Daen’s ricotta gnocchi recipe in our journal, which she uses her olive oil to serve. @daenskitchen
Our barista Ben had your coffee fix sorted with a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to the Pink Ribbon National Breast Cancer Foundation.
We also had Hepburn Springs water available, rehydrating after all that shopping.
Together we raised $108.60 in gold coin donations!
