When Michelin Star Chef Curtis Stone and his team opened their latest venue, Georgie by Curtis Stone in Dallas Texas, in 2019 Cargo Crew was chosen to collaborate and deliver an elevated and modern chef uniform to this exciting new venture.
Georgie is Curtis’ third restaurant in the US, the premiers being the successful Gwen and Michelin Star awarded Maude in LA.
Both Gwen and the newly opened Georgie have a butcher shop and dry-aging room attached to the dining room with Blackmore Wagyu being a big draw card - Stone is the sole importer of the small-production beef from Australia.
The importance of detail and quality in the kitchen follows through to Georgie’s staff uniform selection.
The Australian celebrity chef, author and TV personality has distinct, yet cohesive uniform looks across the 100-seat venue for the servers, bussers/food runners and bartenders.
We worked with Curtis and his chef team to wear-trial our new Chefwear range in the Georgie kitchens, providing us invaluable insights for our upcoming range launch. The kitchen team's immaculate eye for detail and quality helped to ensure our range is as thoroughly considered and prepared as a Michelin Star meal.
While the kitchen team wear-trialled our Banjo Chef Aprons in Khaki, we styled the front of house team in core Cargo Crew range for a cohesive front-to-back full restaurant uniform approach.
The restaurant floor team are stylishly dressed in a classic theme of black, white and charcoal – adding a modern edge with our Jet Denim Jeans. Food runners are outfit in our Staple Shirts with Henry Bib Apron in Charcoal, while the Bar staff complement their look wearing our Watson Waistcoat in Black.
